This article describes how to register a new domain name through Templ.

How to register a new domain name
In the Templ panel, click on Domains in the left menu, followed by clicking on Register a new domain.
In the next step you will search for the domain you want to register. If the domain you are looking to buy is available, click on the Add button. Here you will also see an overview of the pricing of the domain.
The next step is to choose DNS configuration. Click to expand and you will be greeted by the following:
Here you can choose if you want to manage DNS for the domain here at Templ (recommended), or use external name servers and manage DNS on your own, e.g at Cloudflare or any other DNS provider.
If your DNS is managed by Templ, it's easier for us to help with DNS related matters. 👍
Finish the registration
The last step is to finish the registration by purchasing the domain. You'll need to do this with a credit/debit card through our payment provider Stripe.
You can choose to use a card you have used before, or add a new card.
We recommend clicking the checkbox for "Save payment information to my account for future purchases" so you don't have to enter the details manually again.
After you have filled in your card details and accepted the terms and conditions, the last step is to click Pay and wait for the payment to complete.
Once the payment is completed, your domain will be available in the Templ Panel and ready to be used.
