The Facebook pixel makes conversion tracking, optimization and remarketing easier than ever.
In this guide we will show you the easiest way to install the Facebook Pixel on your WordPress website using the "PixelYourSite" plugin.
Step 1.
Open your WordPress dashboard and go to Plugins and then Add New.
Step 2.
Search for "pixelyoursite" in the search field and install the plugin called Facebook Pixel by PixelYourSite.
Step 3.
Activate the plugin.
Step 4.
Before we go further, you need to locate your Facebook Pixel ID number, or if you don't have a pixel yet, you can follow this guide to create the Facebook pixel.
You can also find the Pixel ID in the Facebook Ads Manager by navigating to this link:
Click on the Pixels link
You will find a list with all your pixels and their IDs.
For more details about the pixel, you can click on the link. If you never used the pixel before you will be asked to set up the pixel. At this point simply add the pixel ID and activate PixelYourSite. This will be sufficient to activate the pixel on your site.
Step 5.
Go back to your WordPress website and open the PixelYourSite plugin. Scroll down to the "Add your Pixel ID" section and enter YOUR pixel ID.
And then scroll down and check the box "Activate plugin general settings". then click Save Settings.
Congratulations, you have successfully installed the Facebook Pixel on your WordPress site.
