This is a quick initial setup guide to get you started with Templ as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Setting up your first website

The first time you login to the Templ Panel, you will be prompted to create your website, or skip directly to the panel.

To create a website, click Websites in the left menu, and then Create.

  1. Give your site a name

  2. Choose a location where you want the site to be hosted.

Click Continue and wait for the process to finish, it may take a few minutes. Once the process has completed, you will be able to view your newly created WordPress site with a temporary domain, you can add your own domain later.

Adding a domain you own

Whenever you are ready, you can add a domain that you own, and assign it to your website (instead of the temporary address provided by us).

To add a domain, click Domains in the left menu, then Create.

  1. Enter the domain name that you own

  2. Leave the next box unchecked to use our name servers (recommended)

Click Continue and wait for the process to finish. Now you need to assign the domain to your website, and point your domain to our name servers, please check this detailed guide on how to do that.

Setting up an email address
